Germany has gotta die ... and Jens Spahn's a wanker
I was in Singapore a couple of weeks ago, when they raised their threat level to "orange". And I was impressed how well-organized, smooth, and professional they handled the situation. And by "they" I mean the government, the local authorities, individuals, businesses, etc. Remarkable. Very clear communication. No bullshit. Clear instructions. A clear, well-rehearsed plan that was carried out, across the whole country, within a few hours.
And then I'm seeing the clowns that act as politicians and "leaders" here in Germany. Very embarassing. I'd have been surprised if they'd performed better, but still ... . At least Andi B.Scheuert, the transport clown, hasn't had an opportunity to mess up yet ... oh wait, he was just found to have used 12 million € dedicated to bikes for his beloved cars. Well, at least he's consistent in his truly bavarian amalgamation of corruption and incompetence.
In any case, if you're looking for fresh ginger juice, Winterfeldmarkt on Saturday is your friend! :-)
