Whitianga / Coromandel Peninsula
Yep, auch hier war alles noch so, wie ich es hinterlassen hatte. Lonely Beach immer noch lonely und schoen und natuerlich Cathedral Cove, still absolutely amazing and fabulous. It was a bit crowded because a) I had to go there on a Saturday and b) it had been closed for two days because of bush fires. But still, worth every drop of sweat spent to walk there.
I also had to break one of my big taboos to get there: I rented a car and drove on the wrong side of the road. Disgusting. Now I feel really dirty. Ich hoffe, davon kriegt man keine fiesen Krankheiten.
Jetzt sitze ich gerade in des Discovery Lodge, Tongariro National Park. Hatte das gebucht, als wir noch zu zweit waren. So alleine ist das schon seeehr abgelegen und lonely. Naja, morgen erstmal Tongariro Crossing und dann mal schauen. Der Kanutrip faellt aber wohl aus, da alleine keinen Bock darauf. Internet ist hier auch noch Steinzeit, Modem und so, deshalb eher unspannend und jetzt Schluss.
